Celebrating International Reggae Month and Black History Month

Tribute to the Reggae Legends Festival/ Bob Marley Day is WorldBeat Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. In 1981, the festival was created as a tribute to the king of reggae music, Bob Marley and now it has moved on to honor the living legends of reggae music and the legends that have passed. WorldBeat Center feels it’s imperative to preserve indigenous Rastafari music and culture. Many of today’s reggae lovers, including the youth have never seen Bob Marley or Peter Tosh. Tosh, Mikey Dread, and Lloyd Nibs were last produced by WorldBeat Productions before their passing. The all star lineup of reggae veterans includes Luciano, Mykal Rose of Black Uhuru, Israel Vibration, Don Carlos, Queen Ifrica, Prince Alla, Earl Zero, Frankie Paul, Little John, Triston Palmer, Warrior King, the Melodians, Roots Radics.
