Join us as we celebrate the new harvest with a competitive grape stomp, while enjoying traditional food and music, bringing together a unique blend of old and new traditions to the heart of the Historic Barrio District. This is a competitive grape stomp, with the winning team receiving a donation to the non-profit of their choice.
We will have two vats of freshly picked grapes, and 12 teams of four will compete throughout the day to produce the most juice with their bare feet. The overall winning team will take a $300 check made payable to the non-profit of their choice. In addition, the team that has the most supporters in attendance (paid event ticket) will be eligible for an additional $150 prize to a non-profit of their choice. Team members receive a T-Shirt, free meal and drink, and recognition/promotion on website/facebook, as well as other opportunities for prizes.
