Ely Guerra: Brings “Hombre Invisible” to the US

 (KPRENSA) – Ely Guerra is one of the pioneers of the Latin American rock and icon of style and artistic creation. “Hombre Invisible,”the title of the new material of Ely Guerra, is an extraordinary production of 10 new songs. Now, the artist has brought the album to the American market, through iTunes, starting on June 15, and she intends to do a tour in the US in August.
   The concept of Hombre Invisible and the three years of intense work behind it has brought Ely to the  most interesting and experimental album of her career. For starters, “Hombre Invisible” was carried out based on harmonic sequences originated in the hands of musicians such as the Juanes, Bunbury, Gustavo Santaolalla, Meme del Real and Gil Cerezo, among others. And from these sequences, Ely developed the melody and the lyric for each song. 
   For example, Ely explained “The harmonic sequences of the song `Lontano’ exist thanks to Enrique Bunbury who sent me a piano and a trumpet part that later were transformed into a song that I began to compose and then did the arrangements with my band.” 
   She clarified that the contribution of the collaborators was not made in a direct fashion. “I never visited with anyone, the communication with the invisible men was made through letters and the result was a great experiment. I define the disk as a good musical laboratory.”
   “Hombre Invisible” arose because of Ely’s admiration for her colleagues. “I admire them and respect them because they have evolved in their own career without needing to do a balancing act. It is something that I would like to also be permitted to do.” She added “I have been in communication with each one of them and they have been very loving and I have had the impression that they are happy with what I have done with the original material.
   After concluding he does various years his relation with Emi Music, Ely presents the new material to the public through the creation of her own studio and record company under the name of Homey Company.
   “Homey Company is a business that firmly supports my desire to grow as a Mexican music that doesn’t conform to the established parameters of the record industry. I wanted to change the structure of my business and to transcend, with my creativity, the form of my projects. Homey Company is the business that supports me as the interpreter, author and creator in many other senses,” she says.
   Consistent with that vision, and in keeping with changing panorama of the music market and the technological advances that are transforming it, its new disk will be available exclusively through digital download.
