Tower of Terror Haunted House & Costume Contest
October 31, 2012 (5 – 9 pm)

The National City Fire Fighters Association Local 2744 (NCFFA) and the City of National City are proud to host the 5th Annual Tower of Terror. This year’s event will kick-off at 5:00pm at National City Fire Station 34 (343 East 16th Street) on October 31, 2012.

The NCFFA will have a haunted house located in the drill tower, static displays, and community education trailer will be open to residents. National City’s Community Services Department will be hosting a costume contest throughout the entire event with contests taking place every half an hour with prizes for each winner. A local non-profit; A Reason to Survive (ARTS) is coordinating an art crafting area for children that may otherwise be too frightened to enter the Tower. There will be plenty of candy for all those little ghosts and goblins that come in costume.

The Tower of Terror is designed for the residents of National City to have a safe place to enjoy free pre-Halloween festivities and get to meet their local public safety employees. So come out and prepare to be scared out of your skin, as your off-duty firefighters take you on a trip through torture chambers, deadly caves, and all sorts of Halloween mayhem.

So mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 31st, dust off your broom and fly on over to this great event.
