The economy is slowly turning around, but not fast enough to keep Chula Vista from being hard hit by Default Notices and Foreclosures. In a recent ranking CV held 3 of the top 5 spots for most default notices, including the #1 spot and 3 of the top 5 spots for foreclosures, Campo took the #1 spot. How come the politicians aren’t talking about solving this problem???

Campaign shenanigans: seems the campaign offices of Mary Salas and Pamela Bensoussan are scouring the high school campuses offering 400 hours of community service hours to come and work at their campaign offices…. Politics teaching kids at an early age that cheating is okay… in the name of politics.

Looks like the San Ysidro Health Center is going big time after they bought the office building, which the UT used to occupy, once owned by Jim Pieri on 3rd Ave in Chula Vista. Looks like La Prensa will have new neighbors… wonder if we should take them a plate of cookies…

Denise Ducheny is trying to kick start her campaign for Congress in the waning weeks, but she took a pretty big hit when Juan Vargas mailed his hit piece with her mug shot after a DUI arrest in Sacramento, and a list of other police encounters…. Could be a little too late for Ducheny…
