I-805 BRT/47th Street Trolley Station Area Planning Community Working Group

A proposed multi-modal transit center at the 47th Street Trolley Station will offer convenient access to a planned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service along Interstate 805. The BRT service will connect the South Bay with Kearny Mesa, UTC, UC San Diego, and Sorrento Mesa, providing fast and reliable access to employment and activity centers. Linking the BRT service to the trolley system will also enhance regional mobility.

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is holding a series of monthly working group meetings at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center to discuss the proposed project. Residents, business owners, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

El Centro de Tránsito multimodal propuesto para el área de la estación de Trolley 47th Street, ofrecerá a los residentes locales un cómodo acceso al servicio del Bus Rapid Transit (BRT, Autobús de Tránsito Rápido) planeado a lo largo de la ruta Interestatal 805. El servicio del BRT conectará South Bay con Kearny Mesa, UTC, la Universidad de California San Diego, y Sorrento Mesa, ofreciendo acceso rápido y confiable para a los centros de empleos y otras actividades. Al conectar el servicio del BRT con el sistema del Trolley también mejorará la movilidad de la región.

La Asociación de Gobiernos de San Diego (SANDAG) está llevando a cabo una serie de la reuniones mensuales del grupo de trabajo en el Joe & Vi Jacobs Center para discutir el proyecto propuesto. Los residentes, empresarios y miembros del público están invitados a asistir.

Navy to Conduct Public Meetings in City of Imperial Beach and City of Coronado

All interested parties are invited to attend the informational open house meetings conducted by the U.S. Navy, in regards to the release of the Naval Base Coronado (NBC) 2011 Air Installations Compatible Use Zones (AICUZ) study.
One purpose of an AICUZ program is to protect the health, safety and welfare of civilians and military personnel by encouraging land development which is compatible with aircraft operations.

These meetings are open to the public. There is no charge to attend these meetings.
