Rhode Island governor has a problem with word Christmas so instead of using the word for the states’ annual Christmas tree lighting celebration he has decided to call the event the “holiday” tree lighting event…. what a grinch, maybe he will grow a heart at some point.
Another governor having trouble with free speech is the Governor of Wisconsin who now requires 5 or more individuals to get a permit 72 hours before they show up at the capital to voice their concerns, on top of that they must agree to pay for police presence… Gov. Walker was the governor who took away union rights and faced months of public protest. Guess Wisconsin wants out of the Constituion which guareentes the right to free speech….
National City city hall is closing for an extended period of time during the holiday season; they claim salary savings during the period. We wonder, does this include the mayor’s salary and the city council as well????
We saw a note from the San Diego Rostra taking CV city councilman Rudy Ramirez to task for declaring his intent to run the 79th Assembly District. They note there is one small problem … Ramirez does not live in the district, they wonder if he even looked up the district map at any time during the decision making process??? Now they know what the residents of Chula Vista have had to deal with when it comes to leadership….
