SBA Forms Strategic Alliance with the National Latina Business Women Association-San Diego

    The U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) district office in San Diego has signed a strategic alliance with the National Latina Business Women Association-San Diego (NLBWA-SD). The two organizations have pledged to work together to improve business access to technological information through educational opportunities and SBA resources while also providing maximum financial opportunities and training to entrepreneurs. The agreement was signed by SBA District Director Ruben Garcia and NLBWA-SD President, Catherine Arambula.

    “I am extremely pleased with the goals established by NLBWA-SD and their excellent leadership through Ms. Arambula” said Garcia.  “Catherine has a rich history of assisting entrepreneurs take their place as business owners and I know that NLBWASD will take advantage of our SBA programs to help potential owners fulfill their dreams of small business ownership.”

    The NLBWA-SD was created to meet the needs of the growing ranks of Latina Entrepreneurs, Executives and Professionals. Their mission is to encourage Latinas to develop their business and professional goals through education, networking and business referrals.

    “The NLBWA-SD members are really looking forward to utilizing the resources available through SBA.  We plan on working very closely with SBA and Mr. Garcia to ensure that our members are able to maximize financial opportunities. We will give as much feedback and statistics necessary to ensure that NLBWA-SD’s Latina owned small business owners have a voice and collectively make a difference,” says President Catherine Arambula.
