First Time Homebuyer Education Class
-Course Fulfills Requirement for Government Assistance Programs-
WHAT: The Neighborhood House Association’s Housing Counseling program is hosting a First Time Homebuyer Education Class to provide first time homebuyers with the knowledge and confidence needed when purchasing their first home.
This class fulfills the requirement for potential buyers to utilize government assistance programs such as the down payment, closing costs and shared equity programs. The class will provide education and counseling on budgeting for a home purchase, finding a home, shopping for a loan and caring for a home.
Guests must pre-register by calling 619-263-7761 x139 or emailing ebrown@neighborhoodhouse.org to obtain a seat. There is a $35 registration fee per household.

WHY: Neighborhood House Association (NHA) Housing Counseling Program is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved counseling agency and is dedicated to providing families with the knowledge, awareness and resources related to all housing issues.

“Centro de salud mujeres y maternidad Raíces del parto” un centro de Parto independiente, está celebrando su apertura con una exhibición del lugar a puertas abiertas este sábado 6 de febrero de 12 PM a 6 PM y domingo 7 de febrero de 10 AM a 1 PM. Raíces del parto ofrecerá apoyo , educación y servicios para mu-jeres que darán a luz y embarazadas en la bahía sur de San Diego. Profesionales con licencia certificada Darynée Blount y Sarah Davis atenderán partos en dicho centro, como también cuidado prenatal y otros servicios, incluyendo educación de partos, educación para la crianza y apoyo para amamantar y lactancia .
Raíces del parto un centro independiente de parto está localizado en 236 F Street, Chula Vista CA. La exhibición de puertas abiertas será gratis y abierto al público el sábado 6 de febrero de 12 PM a 6 PM y domingo 7 de febrero de 10 AM a 1 PM.
