South Bay Outlaws Lacrosse players have been selected to play for the San Diego regional team in the US Lacrosse West Championships San Jose, CA June 28-30, 2013. Outlaws Grant Koopman, Jacob Ramirez, Kevin Murphy and Isaiah Dawson will be on the roster for the U13 team. The U15 team will include Outlaws Malachi Winfield, Elijah Shelton and Nate McPeak. The San Diego regional team includes players from Chula Vista, Scripps Ranch, Poway, La Jolla, Rancho Peñasquitos, Escondido, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad and Del Mar.
The South Bay Outlaws is a youth lacrosse association committed to making the great sport of lacrosse accessible to the families of south county San Diego. Members of the association work diligently to maintain the energetic and skill-building approach that has proven successful for the Outlaws. The organization also places an emphasis on attracting team players and leaders of diverse interests and backgrounds to the sport of lacrosse. With the mission in place, the spring 2013 season brought many firsts for the thriving Outlaws such as the introduction of the 1st/2nd grade boys team and 7th/8th grade girls team. This season was also the first time that the 7th/8th grade boys team made the San Diego County Lacrosse Association playoffs.
South Bay Outlaws host recreational, competitive boys and girls lacrosse teams during the spring season (March – May). Off-season, the Outlaws host various lacrosse clinics and activities. For more information visit http://southbaylacrosse.net
