Over 40 families were helped in the donation (including more than 120 kids); plus many families that were not expected and showed-up at the time, but all were given gifts and food.The event, which occurs every year, was sponsored by Acai Roots, A San Diego based company founded in 2005 by 3 Brazilians, and local NPO partners, who put together over 470 gifts and offered a cook-out to the families of an underprivileged community in Tijuana.
As always, we also brought “Santa Clause” to take pictures with the kids and give the attendees their Christmas gifts – after the cook-out ended.
