Tras 9 horas de la apertura de las urnas, un total de 325 personas llegaron a las instalaciones del registro electoral a ejercer su voto según el Registro de Votantes en San Diego, ubicado en Kearny Mesa.<br>
La presente elección en San Diego no tiene precedentes debido a la cantidad de proposiciones, candidatos y medidas que aparecerán en las boletas.<br>

<p>Last year, 17,975 incidents of domestic violence were reported in San Diego County. That is an increase of 6 percent from 2014, according to San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) data. Sixteen people lost their lives in domestic violence incidents that same year where the suspect was the victim’s current or previous partner.<br>
As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, San Diego agencies are seeking to educate the public to recognize the signs, and thus prevent serious incidents.<br>

<p>Early voting for the November 8 elections began this past Monday, October 10, with record numbers in what may be a record voter turnout.<br>
According to the San Diego Registrar of Voters, in the first nine hours of balloting alone, 325 people had shown up to cast their ballots at the Registrar of Voters’ office in Kearny Mesa.<br>
This will be an unprecedented election in San Diego due to the number of propositions, candidates, and measures that will appear on one of the lengthiest ballots ever present to voters.<br>

<p>A leaked report by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concludes that almost half of all undocumented immigrants evade detention.<br>
The report has not officially been released by the DPH, but the Associated Press received a copy from an unnamed government source. The internal report has not been released even as members of Congress have asked for it to be made public.<br>
