<p>The President of Mexico announced that three men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a journalist in Tijuana last month in a year that has already seen four journalists murdered.</p>

<p>President Andres Manuel <meta charset="utf-8">López Obrador held a press conference in Mexico City to announce the arrests of the three suspects, but he did not reveal their identities or possible motive for the murder.</p>

<p>The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution today that declares the pollution and sewage entering the US from the Tijuana River Valley to be a public health crisis for the South County region.</p>
<p>The resolution, offered by newly-elected Supervisor Nora Vargas, calls attention to the health concerns related to toxic sewage and pollution that spills over the border and contaminates San Diego beaches as far north as La Jolla.</p>

<p>The Customs and Border Protections (CBP) has made changes at the border that will increase northbound crossing wait times in an effort to discourage non-essential travel between the US and Mexico.</p>
<p>“Non-essential travelers should expect more disruption to their travel, including increased wait times and the potential for secondary inspection,” a CBP spokesperson said about the recent changes.</p>
