While Chula Vista Mayor Cox talks about the economic turnaround, in her sTate of the city speech, the only turnaround going on is the churning in our stomachs with the continued dysfunction at city hall. The recent articles on the Dynergy clean up lets all to see what a mess this city council is… just another example of the council not knowing what the hell is going on. At the crux of the issue is the involvement of David Malcolm. Malcolm working with Cox and Pamela Bensoussan, with councilperson Pat Aguilar not wanting anything to do with Malcolm…. this is shaping up to be a calamity….
This is just another repeat of the Gaylord fiasco where the project was on track and then fell off track after the election Cox as mayor…

Even National City is complaining that the city council is sitting on their hands when it comes to developing a shopping center on their shared border….
National City city council tried to pull a fast one on the mayor, Ron Morrison, trying to deny the mayor the Sweetwater Board appointment…. councilmembers didn’t have the right or authority but that didn’t stop them from trying….
