<p>The number of deportation of parents during the Obama administration is prompting immigration reform advocates to demand that those who were deported be reunited with their families.</p>
<p>More than just the legalization of 11 million persons who are undocumented, FIRM, Fair Immigration Reform Movement composed of an estimated 30 advocacy immigration groups are calling on Congress for family reunification including those persons who were separated from their families.</p>

Last weekend, over 600 Dreamers, undocumented youth, called on the President and Congress to support a comprehensive immigration reform that would create a path to legalization for over 12 million immigrants. They have changed their focus from policies that could give them relief, to one that includes their families as well.

<p>The results of the 2012 election have awakened the Republican Party to their impending demographic disaster.</p>
<p>Substantial growth in the size and power of the Latino vote—and an overwhelming tilt in that vote against their nominee—paints a bleak future for Republican electability. Coupled with startling Democratic vote share among Asian Americans (73%), and an ever more resolute and motivated African American vote, demography may be destiny for the GOP.</p>
