<p><strong>Dear Mexican: One of my pet peeves are Latinos who pronounce their last names with Anglo accents. For example, Rod-driguez instead of Roh-driguez. Would love it if you address this. Personally, I believe we Latinos should educate Anglos on correct pronunciation. </strong><br>

Editorial:

It is always good to look back at the past editorials of the year, it tells us where we were and where we are going. Editorials for any newspaper are the sole of the paper, if you want to know about a newspaper, read their editorials.
Re-reading our editorials is interesting and in some cases, they gave us reason to smile.

<p>Aunque el 2013 fue un año difícil para Daniel Soto, dijo que espera tener un mejor 2014.</p>
<p>“Este año fue algo difícil, en realidad”, dijo el muchacho de 23 años afuera de la casa de cambio donde trabaja en San Ysidro. “Pero tienes que seguir adelante, luchando por ganar dinero”.</p>
<p>Soto dijo que este año fue más duro porque tuvo que pagar la mitad de la renta del apartamento que comparte con su compañero de casa. Antes, vivía con sus padres, pero quiso ser más independiente.</p>
