<p> Cuando el abuelo de Julián y Javier Plasencia entró a trabajar al histórico bar y restaurant Cesar’s jamás se pudo imaginar que serían sus nietos quienes tuvieran la iniciativa de reabrirlo y retomar la tradición que puso a Tijuana en el mapa internacional.</p>
<p> Ahora son ellos, restauranteros y empresarios los que decidieron rescatar al mítico restaurante luego de que quebrara en plena crisis económica a finales del año pasado.</p>

The number of minority-owned businesses increased by 45.6 percent to 5.8 million between 2002 and 2007, more than twice the national rate of all U.S. businesses, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. In addition, the number of women-owned businesses increased 20.1 percent during the same period. The total number of U.S. businesses increased between 2002 and 2007 by 18.0 percent to 27.1 million.

Governing Board Selects Echo Pacific Construction to Build Concept Design
Southwestern College today moved one step closer to beginning construction of the corner lot development for its main campus in Chula Vista, including new classroom space and a state-of-the-art bookstore. Funded by Proposition R, the project is the largest new development since the college’s original construction in 1961.
