    En las elecciones de Baja California solo un 30% del patrón electoral salió a las urnas, y fue solo fue para darle el triunfo al PRI en todas las alcaldías del estado, demostrando un enojo generalizado con la clase política y los partidos, pero también una critica directa a las acciones del PAN y su plan de gobierno.

   In the past, all too often in these editorial pages we have taken the point of view that we just can’t take our freedoms for granted. We have to fight for freedom, we have to be vigilant, and we have to be involved. We have often talked about how freedom is not free and that it takes sacrifices. We have highlighted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights which have made this country what it is today. These points have been a re-occurring theme in editorials of the past, and have often been repeated.

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; This July, San Diego City residents will have a rare and historic opportunity to help shape the future of representative government at City Hall. With minority voter empowerment in the balance, it is critical that every San Diegan learn the importance of “redistricting.”</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; The great American educator, John Dewey, repeatedly made the case that students did not fail, schools failed students. This principle is one of the canons of Chicana/o or La Raza Studies. For the most part, the American public schools wrote them off as failures, blaming it on their culture-called them culturally deprived or culturally disadvantaged.</p>
