A estas alturas de la vida ya nada puede sorprendernos. La Migra “corrigió” y “ajustó” sus políticas de deportación la semana pasada, para dejarlas más o menos igual. Se trata de un “ajuste” a su programa de Comunidades Seguras, hecho después de que Illinois, Massachussets y California le pintaron un violín a la administración de Barack Obama, declarando de una u otra forma que no le van a entrar a su idea de la “seguridad”.

<p> History was made the other day in Arizona. A Republican-led citizen group turned in a record setting 18,315 signatures to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office in a recall petition with the infamous Arizona State Senate President Russell Pearce targeted for removal from office.</p>
<p> The 18,315 is over double the 7,756 signatures required by law for a recall election.</p>
Today (May 26), Senators Menendez (D-NJ), Reid (D-NV), Durbin (D-IL), Schumer (D-NY), Akaka (D-HI), Leahy (D-VT), Bennet (D-CO), and Gillibrand (D-NY) introduced the Military Families Act. This legislation aims to provide stability and peace of mind for men and women in the military who have close family members who are undocumented. The bill would allow parents, spouses, and children of active duty military servicemen and women to become legal permanent residents.
