How would you like to see the open spaces used?  Let your voices be heard in re-shaping and re-building your community. Student Art Scholarships

    Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation’s John Steiger Performing Arts Scholarships are to be presented annually to seniors graduating from high schools in North County, based upon student experience, contributions to their performing arts program, and a teacher recommendation. This year’s selected student(s) can receive $750.00 to $900.00 to further their arts education. To be considered for this award, candidates must submit a typed 1-2 page only application which includes the following information:

    The YMCA of San Diego County is delighted to announce the 26th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Human Dignity Award Breakfast on Fri., Jan. 14, 2011, 6:30 a.m. at the Town & Country Resort Hotel, 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108. Tickets are $40.

Significant Changes to Third Avenue

    A very important project called “Third Avenue Street-scape” will soon be brought to the City Council for approval. We believe that there are many reasons for being concerned about this project, and why it may be harmful to the economic well-being of Third Avenue.

    So we are holding a Special Crossroads II Board Meeting to discuss Streets-cape, and the Board meeting will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. City staff will present the project.
